Joseph Gockel

Joseph Edmond Gockel, Jr., 69 of Scott City died March 3, 2018 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born October 2, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Joseph Edmond and Aredah Catherine Harvell Gockel. He married Susan Kay Hink on January 21, 1988.

He worked for Atlas Plastics.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; three sons, Chris Gockel of Jackson, Mike Gockel of Cape Girardeau and Anthony Hink of Chaffee; a sister, Sondra Gockel of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Pat Gockel of Jonesboro, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Katie Gockel; a brother and a sister.

There will be no services.
