Charles Bain

Charles Richard Bain, 78 of Scott City died Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his home. He was born October 3, 1939 in Fornfelt, Missouri to Wilburn “S.W.” and Mary Amanda Schwartz Bain. He was the production operator for John Deere Tractor in Waterloo, Iowa. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, a life time member of AMVETS and a volunteer for the Scott County Historical Society. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1958 until 1960.

He is survived by two sons, Bradley Bain and Mark Bain of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Margie Bain Stout of Kirkwood, Missouri, Karen Bain and Mary Bain Rogers of Scott City and three grandchildren, Briana, Dillon and Gabrielle.

There will be no services.
