Lillian Blattel
Mrs. Blattel was employed at the shoe factory, St. Francis Hospital and Andersen-Clark, retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son James (Doris) Blattel of Jackson, Missouri; two daughters Vicki (Tim) Raines and Linda (Larry) Summers of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; four grandchildren, Heather (Kody) Newkirk, Jaime (Charles) Williams, Brandon (Nancy) Blattel and Adam Raines; seven great-grandchildren, Kaya and Kiana Newkirk, Corie, Jalen, and Cameron Williams, Boyd and Piper Blattel; a brother, Joe (Velma) Jackson and a sister, Kitty Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, William, parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5:00 -8:00 PM. on Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with Rev. Allan Saunders as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
