Tammy Hunt

A beautiful woman inside and out went to heaven today. Tamara “Tammy” Jo Hunt, 67 of Millersville, Missouri died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born September 14, 1949 in Cape Girardeau to Jesse and Dorothy Baker Huckstep.  She married Luther Hunt on October 17, 1968 in Joplin, Missouri.

Tammy was a caring and fully devoted wife who loved her family. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.  She devoted her life for many years driving a bus for Jackson School District and considered all the children as her own.

She is survived by her husband, Luther; a son, Scott (Chandie) Hunt of Fredericktown, Missouri; a daughter, Angela (Matt) Batchelor of Millersville; two brothers, Mike (Dana) Huckstep of Joplin and Keith (Joni) Huckstep of Jefferson City, Missouri and 11 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at RR 1 Millersville, Missouri.
