Daniel Hicks
He was born on June 17, 1959 in Rockford Illinois to the late Clois and Margaret Meier Hicks.
Daniel was a retired janitor for several area hospitals. He was a member of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Brandon Hicks of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Michael Hicks of South Beloit, Illinois; two daughters, Lisa Hicks of Rockford, Illinois and Danielle Hicks of Edmond, Oklahoma; a brother Scott (Kristy) Meier of Shawnee, Oklahoma, a sister Karen (Joey) Boone of Quitman, Louisiana, and two grandchildren; two special nieces Yukondra Schearf and Ashlee Orrell, were great caring and loving nieces to a really special Uncle.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Dina K. Hicks.
Friends may call after 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the Chapel in Chaffee with Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery.
