Aaron Culbertson

Aaron David Culbertson age 83, of Whitewater, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at the family home.

He was born November, 28, 1933 in Chaffee to the late Aaron and Julia Ryker Culbertson. He married Glenda Lee Jones on April 4, 1955 and she survives of the home.

Aaron was a retired de-barker with M.E. Lemings Saw Mill of Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Lake Girardeau Assembly of God Church in Whitewater. Aaron served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife Glenda, three sons, Michael (Brenda) Culbertson of Oklahoma City, OK; Aaron David (Kim) Culbertson of St. Louis; Larry Culbertson of Whitewater; a daughter, Barbara (Mark) Claunch of Whitewater; two sisters, Ella Dowd of Chaffee and Nancy (Bob) Cook of Sedgewickville; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with Rev. Mark Claunch officiating. Burial will be at Stroderville Cemetery, Whitewater, MO.
