Raymond Merritt, Jr.

Raymond Edwin Merritt, Jr., 57 of Scott city died Monday, September 7, 2015. He was born March 20, 1958 in Berwynn, Illinois to Raymond Edwin and Glennis Webb Merritt. He married Christina Marie Gillis on February 15, 2000. He was a self-employed painter. He is survived by his wife, Christina; his mother, Glennis Kunke of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Zachary Merritt and Joseph Ludvigsen of Scott City; two daughters, Angela Knott of Chicago, IL and Samantha Merritt of Scott City and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a sister. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church in Scott City with Rev. Kevin Ropp officiating.
