Pete Riley

Peter Joseph Riley, 52 of Scott City died Wednesday September 2, 2015 at his home. He was born April 18, 1963 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Freddie Joseph and Betty Yvonne Diamond Riley. He married Jennifer Thomas on November 23, 1995. He was a deckhand for ACBL Barge lines until he became disabled in 1984. He is survived by a son, Dylan Riley of Scott City; a daughter, Katie Riley of Scott City; two brothers, Blair Brown of Denver, Colorado and Danny Riley of Fruitland and a sister, Brenda Brown of Cape Girardeau. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian Brown. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 7:00 pm Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Family request donations be made to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses.
