Jerry Ferrell

Jerry Ferrell Jerry Wayne Ferrell, 70, of Scott City, passed away Friday August 28, 2015. He was born September 27, 1944 at Harrisburg, Illinois to Guy and Opal Fox Ferrell. Jerry and Patricia Bethel were married on February 1, 1973. He was retired U. S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife Patricia of Scott City; two sons, J.J. Ferrell Jr., of Ocala, FL and Quinton Ferrell of Eldorado, IL ; four daughters, Tina Hermanson of Ocala, Florida, Lisa Ritch, Carrie Calhoun and Kandi Gross all of Scott City; 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 1 grandchild. Memorial visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
