Virginia Perry

Virginia Estelle Perry, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born September 25, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph Auld and Myrtle Cecilia Duvall Harrison. She was employed as a factory worker. She was a member of Cape First in Cape Girardeau. She served in church for 70 years as a youth leader, music ministry and as a Sunday school teacher. She is survived by a son; Dr. Robert (Jane) Perry of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Janice (Rick) Parrish of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Breth and a brother. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at the chapel with Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
