Ron Baker

Ronald Dean Baker, 59 of Scott City died July 7, 2015 in Silverthorne, CO. He was born February 16, 1956 in Artesia, CA to Edward David and Sarah Alice Lee Baker. He married Brenda Louvine Davidson on Sept. 20, 1980 in Scott City, MO. Ron was owner of Bakers Service Center in Scott City and he taught Auto Body Repair at the Career and Technology Center in Cape Girardeau. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; a son Zach Baker of Scott City; a brother, Don (Mary) Baker of Scott City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sherry Braden. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the chapel with Rev. Ronnie McKinley officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
