Furlando Davis, Sr.

Furlando Eugene Davis, Sr., 55 of Cape Girardeau, MO passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born March 19, 1960 Cairo, IL to Hudson and Mary Bertha Reed Davis, Jr. He married Diana Edna Holley on April 9, 2012. Furlando was a retired C.N.A.. He is survived by his wife, Diana Davis; four sons, Furlando Davis II, and Starlon Davis of Harrisburg, IL, Apollo Davis of Cairo, IL, Adarius Davis of Carbondale, IL; a brother, Orlando Davis of Marion, IL; a sister Priscilla Davis of Cairo, IL and 5 grandchildren, Avionna Cleaves-Davis, Apollo Davis II, Stardeja Davis, Furlando Davis III and Honesti Davis. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Harmony Denise Davis. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 Am on Saturday at the chapel with Pastor Stafford Moore, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
