Sherry Davis

Sherry Lynne Davis, age 73, of Chaffee, MO passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on April 3, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Ralph Anthony and Lucille Marie Gornet Pfefferkorn. Sherry married James Davis on December 24, 1959 and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1993. She was a retired store clerk at Dacus Discount in Chaffee and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Garner of Oran, MO, Debbie (Steve) Smith of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother, John (Brenda) Pfefferkorn of Jackson, MO; five grandchildren, Jimmy and Jody Hargrove, Kara, Whitney and Elizabeth Schlosser; five great grandchildren, Kole Simms, Kaden and Blake Hargrove, Taylor and Mallory Lowes. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2015 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish Prayers will be held at 4 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the chapel with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, MO.
