Sheila Boes

Sheila Ruth Boes, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 7, 1951 in Cape Girardeau, to Edwin and Anna Hale Held. Survivors include a son, Terry (Tabetha) Held of Plato, MO; three daughters, Tracy Hay of Scott City, Candance Walsh and Misty (Danny) Smith both of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Roger Held of McClure, IL; six sisters, Carolyn Dinwiddie and Donna Froggatt of Scott City, Phyllis Miller of Chaffee, Linda Matlock of Burfordsville, Cathy Medford of Benton, and Debbie Gullett of Jackson; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Michelle Boes, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be from 11 am until time of service Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel with the Rev. Frank Giunta officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amick-Burnett to assist with funeral expenses.
