Imogene Mayberry

Imogene Mayberry, 82, of Commerce, Mo., died Sat., Jan. 3, 2015 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo. She was born Sept. 27, 1931 at Portageville, Mo., the daughter of William and Aby Williams Moore. She married Riley "Tutor" Mayberry on Mar. 29, 1947 at Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2001. Imogene was a member of the Commerce Baptist Church. Survivors include; a son, David Mayberry of Commerce; two daughters, Sheilah Jones of Senath, Mo., and Gail Guffey of Jackson, Mo.; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and 8 sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel with Rev. David Thompson officiating, assisted by Rev. Dan Stevens. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery near Commerce.
