Brenda Kay Bles

Brenda Kay Bles, 64, of Scott City died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at her home. She was born Sept. 29, 1950, in Fornfelt (Scott City) to James Charles and Edith Marie Sturm Whitworth. Brenda was a beautician at Virginias Hair Care and a member of First Baptist Church, both in Scott City. Survivors include three sons, Mike (Beth) Bles of Scott City, Chad (Jennifer) Bles of Sikeston, Missouri, Todd (Laura Gossett) Bles of Albertville, Alabama; four brothers, Marshall (Jo Ellen) Whitworth, Jay (Sybil) Whitworth, Randy (Sue) Whitworth, all of Scott City, and Rick (Charlotte) Whitworth of Chaffee, Missouri; and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The Rev. Jeremy Sells will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Chad Bles. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
