Aurelia L. "Rella" Robert

Aurelia L. "Rella" Robert, 95 of New Hamburg died September 10, 2014 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, MO. She was born October 31, 1918 in New Hamburg, MO to Martin and Bertha Gerst Glastetter. She married William B. Robert on January 11, 1938 in New Hamburg, MO. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1988. She was an inspector at Thorngate and also a cook at Kelso C-7. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Ann's Ladies Sodality and New Hamburg Senior Citizens. She is survived by two daughters, Norma (Gene) Seyer of New Hamburg and Shirley (Larry) Williams of Scott City; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Parks and nine brothers. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at the church with Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in New Hamburg. Memorials may be made to Southeast Hospice, #10 Doctors Park, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
