Pete Sturm

Glenn Albert "Pete" Sturm, 65 of Scott City died September 9, 2014 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born December 24, 1948 in Risco, Missouri to Morris "Junior" and Laura Glen Biggs Sturm. He was a truck driver. Pete is survived by a son, Travis Sturm of Scott City; three daughters, Becky (Sapo) Tiquila, Heidi (Justin) Riegert and Lorie (Jody Burton) Pace all of Scott City; two brothers, Donald Sturm of Gordonville and William Sturm of Jackson; two sisters, Janet Keesee and Mary Jo Rogers both of Scott City; a sister-in-law, Rita Sturm of Scott City; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Glenn "Lil Pete" Sturm, Jr; two brothers, Richard and Keith Sturm and a granddaughter, Melanie Stickel. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
