Charlene Markland

Charlene Markland, 80 of Scott City died July 1, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born October 9, 1933 in Winn, Arkansas. She married Charles Edward Markland on April 17, 1959. She is survived by her husband, Charles of Scott City; two sons, Chuck (Becky) Markland of Scott City and Chris (Kim) Markland of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Cutright of Scott City; a sister, Mary Lou Phipps of Scott City; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Markland. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
