Emery Alvin Moore

Emery Alvin Moore, age 82, of Delta, MO passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the family home in Delta, MO. He was born on January 4, 1932 in Qulin, MO to the late Jess and Stella Deckard Moore. He married Lenora Louise Williamson and she preceded him in death in Feb. 1969 he then married Yonetta Gibbons on August 1, 1970 and she survives. Emery was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Advance, MO. He was a retired hand sewer at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau, MO. Survivors include two sons, Joe (Pam) Moore of Scott City, MO, Kelly Moore of Delta, MO; one daughter, Sue (Ernie) Payne of Chaffee, MO; one step daughter, Ginger (Randy) Reigert of Chaffee, MO; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Roger Moore; five sisters and one brother. Friends may call after 4p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral service will be at 1p.m. at the chapel on Thursday, June 26, 2014 with Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta, MO.
