Verble Bumgardaner

Verble Bumgardaner, age 86, of Oran, MO passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Perkins, MO to the late Charles and Hazel Idalene Marcus Standley. She married John Calvin Bumgardaner on August 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1987. Verble was a member of the Perkins Baptist Church and she devoted her life to raising her children. Survivors include one son, Boyd C. (Kathleen Marie) Bumgardaner of Millington, MI.; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and two sisters. Friends may call from 10a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, MO. Funeral service will be at 1p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Kenny Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in Perkins, MO.
