Michael Eugene Douglas

Michael Eugene Douglas, 50 of Scott City died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, KY. He was born February 19, 1964 in Roswell, New Mexico to Howard Taft and Betty Louise Faire Douglas. He married Michelle Marie Jirik on November 27, 1999. He was a truck driver for URSA Logistics. He is survived by his wife, Michelle of Bismarck, MO; his parents, Howard and Betty Douglas of Scott City; a son, Jacob Douglas of Bismarck; four daughters, Chrystal Batie of Haysville, KS, Kimberly Lynn Douglas of Farmington, Ashley and Emily Douglas both of Bismarck; a sister, Judith Ann Cagle of Scott City and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday with Rev. Helen Kersey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, MO.
