Verla M. Wooldridge

Verla M. Wooldridge of Cape Girardeau formerly of Benton, Mo. died June 6, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born June 27, 1919 at Benton, Mo. to John E. and Iva Lincoln Mayfield. She married Harold S. Wooldridge on September 4, 1937 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2014 Verla sold antiques'. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton. She is survived by; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Wooldridge; four brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service, Thursday at Unity Baptist Church in Benton. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Baptist Cemetery.
