Elnora C. Lee

Elnora C. Lee, age 100, of Chaffee, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee. She was born on February 18, 1914 in Zalma, MO to the late Earl V. and Bertha A. Abernathy Seabaugh. She married Charles A. Lee on January 2, 1932 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 1977. Elnora was a member of the First Christian Church in Chaffee, MO and the Chaffee Ladies American Legion Aux Post #389. She was a retired machine operator for Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee, MO. Survivors include one son, Ronnie Lee of Chaffee, MO; two daughters, Shirley Lee of Chaffee, MO, Charlene (C.L.) Horton of Lexington, KY; one daughter in law, Margie Lee of Chaffee, MO; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Sonny Lee; three brothers, and two sisters. Friends may call from 9:30a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. at the chapel with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Friend Cemetery in Oran, MO.
