Patricia Hampton

Patricia Lou Hampton, 69, of Chaffee passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 23, 1945, to the late Orville and Marie Curry Burns. Pat married Jerry Hampton in 1970. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chaffee. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star in Morley, Mo. Survivors include one son, Jerry Wayne (Brandy) Hampton Jr. of Chaffee; three grandchildren, Scarlett Hampton, Anthony and Johnathon Madalon, all of Chaffee; three sisters, Ann Culbertson of Fruitland, Sue Tyler and Connie Killian, both of Scott City. One brother and one sister preceded her in death. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. Matt Butrum officiating and the Rev. Randy Morse assisting. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, Mo.
