Allene Emma Glueck

Allene Emma (Brucker) Glueck, 91, of Chaffee, MO died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born October 5, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late John William and Josephine Philomene Kirchdoerfer Brucker. She married Edward Killian Glueck on January 16, 1945 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1991. Allene was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and Daughters of St. Ambrose. She was a farm wife for the majority of her life but she also worked as a lacer at the Chaffee Shoe Factory. Survivors include two daughters, Jackie (David) Hutson of Jackson, MO, Donna (David) Loop of Fruitland, MO; one grandson, Duston Hutson of Jackson, MO; extended family of nieces and nephews who thought of her as mom and grandma. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnnie Brucker, and four sisters, Dena Schabbing, Marie Mabrey, Amelia Slinkard and Stella Glueck. Friends may call after 4p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Ambrose Catholic School in Chaffee and from 8a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 7PM, Friday at the school. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee, MO.
