Mary Anne Eifert

Mary Anne Eifert, 83 of Shawneetown, MO died June 3, 2013 at her home. She was born May 30, 1930 in Fornfelt, MO to William and Anna Marie Georger Dohogne. She married Charles Frederick Eifert on October 21, 1950 in Piggott, AR. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1995. Mary farmed in the Shawneetown area for 41 years. She was a member of the Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City and Pairs and Spares of the church. She is survived by a son, Charles "Sam" "(Carol Ann) Eifert of Shawneetown; two daughters, Patricia Eifert of Shawneetown and Jacqueline (Jim) Tsikhlakis of Fruitland; a sister, Shirley Baker of Waterloo, IL; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Visitaion will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Thursday at the Eisleben Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church with Rev. Marty Hasz officiating. Memorials may be sent to Eisleben Lutheran Church and St. Jude's. Burial will be at the Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Eisleben Lutheran Church or St. Judes.
