Thurman Lee Skaggs

Thurman Lee Skaggs Jr., age 66, of Chaffee, MO passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the family home in Chaffee, MO. He was born on November 17, 1946 in Zalma, MO to the late Thurman Lee and Evelyn Huff Skaggs Sr. Thurman was a member of the United States Army and was a military police officer for 20yrs. Survivors include his son, Bryan (Debra) Skaggs of Thebes, IL; one daughter, Stacy Kennedy of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother, Ronnie (Barb) Skaggs of Scott City, MO; one sister Linda K. Marsh of Scott City, MO; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Friends may call from 11AM until time of service on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral service will be held at 1PM at the chapel with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO with full military honors presented by the Missouri Honor Guard.
