Shirley Irene Carter

Shirley Irene Carter, 77 of Benton, MO died May 12, 2013 at her home. She was born July 7, 1935 in Dogwood, MO to Issac Candaberry and Lula Elizabeth Boyer Treece. She married Charles Carter on July 11, 1968 in Charleston, MO. He preceded her in death. Shirley managed a Laundromat in Charleston, MO. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by a son, Kevin Carter of Benton; a brother, George (Betty) Treece of Millersville, MO; a sister, Nola May (Albert) Edwards of New Madrid, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton, MO.
