Roberta Curneal

Roberta A. Curneal, age 77, of Chaffee, MO passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the family home in Chaffee, MO. She was born on September 16, 1935 in Cairo, IL to the late Earnest and Elsie Brooks Abney. She married Tony Bass on June 25, 1950 and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1968. She married Carlton Curneal on May 22, 1982 and he survives. Roberta was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Chaffee, Mo. Survivors include her husband, Carlton, of the home; one daughter Tonita (Billy) Little of Mounds, IL; one step daughter, Hope (George) Davis of Delta, MO; one sister, Patsy Casper of Mounds, IL; eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, one daughter and two sisters. Friends may call from 11AM until the time of service on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral Service will be held at 1PM at the chapel with Rev. John Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Wickliffe, KY.
