Katherine Thelma Koch

Katherine Thelma Koch, 93 of Scott City died April 6, 2013 at her home. She was born February 9, 1920 in Ancell, MO to John and Bertha Ash Miller. She married Marion Corbert Koch on May 6, 1939 in Ancell, MO. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2009. She was a surgical nurse at St. Francis Medical center and Southeast Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City. She is survived by three sons, Joe (Jeana) Koch of Cape Girardeau, Lanny (Marilyn) Koch of Chaffee, Bill (Libby) Koch of Scott City; two daughters, Judy (Kenny) Foeste of Cape Girardeau and Angie (Rob) Sample of Scott City; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandchild. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City and on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at First Baptist Church in Scott City. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday at the church with Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City. Memorial can be sent to First Baptist Church in Scott City.
