Mildred Lydia Uelsmann, 106, of Scott City died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 16, 1906, in Scott City, to Daniel F.A. and Pauline Will Eifert. She married Elmer John Uelsmann Nov. 2, 1924. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1974. Mildred was a machine operator at Ely Walker. She was a lifelong member of Eisleben Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons-in-law, Bob Hensley of Scott City, Bob Bray of Conroe, Texas; a sister, Elsie Eifert of Scott City; two granddaughters, Marsha Fehr of Scott City, Sandra (Dominic) McCarthy of Conroe; two grandsons, Steve (Nancy) Bray of Garfield, Ark., Bruce (Laura) Bray of San Antonio, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Heather Ingvalson, Hailey Simmers and Sean Bray; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two daughters, Barbara Hensley and Elma Jean Bray; three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday,April 3, 2013 at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Eisleben Church. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the church, with Pastor Marty Hasz officiating. Burial will be in Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery.
