Charolette L. Brooks

Charolette L. Brooks, age 68, of Chaffee, MO passed away Friday March 22nd, 2013, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born on March 22, 1945 in Burfordville, MO to the late Hobert and Legia Crader Eakins. Charlotte married Lee Brooks on June 23 , 1984 and he survives. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Chaffee, Mo. She worked a machine operator for Lenco in Jackson, MO then retired as a machine operator from Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee. Survivors include her husband of the home; a son Robert (Kim) Stovall of Arnold, Mo; a daughter, Gale (Royce) Ruddick of Alvord, TX; a son, Kerry (Jane) Brooks of Poplar Bluff, MO; a daughter, Becky (Joe) Edwards of Selmer, TN; one brother, Carl Eakins of Cape Girardeau, MO; two sisters, Carol (Dan) Kern of Seymour, MO, Cathy Eakins of Cape Girardeau, Mo; sixteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son and four great grandchildren. Friends may call after 5PM, Saturday, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The funeral service will be held at 1PM, today at the chapel with Rev. J. D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, MO.
