Mary Bernadette "Bunny" Wobbe Bollinger, 80, of Scott City died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 10, 1933, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Bernard and Ida Fuehne Wobbe. She and James H. Bollinger were married in 1954 in East St. Louis, Ill. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 2003. Bunny was a 1950 graduate of St. Theresas Academy in East St. Louis, and worked more than 35 years for Saveway Oil Co. in Cape Girardeau. She was a 50-year member of St. Joseph Church in Scott City, and was a volunteer at Saint Francis Medical Center the past 20 years. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sheryl Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Mike and Lea Bollinger of Maryville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Matthew Bollinger of Brooklyn, N.Y., Alison Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Lauren Bollinger of Maryville; a sister, Helen Thomas of Belleville, Ill.; and a sister-in-law, Lola Wheeler of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Catherine White of Collinsville, Ill., Margaret Wobbe of Belleville; and an infant brother, Henry Alvin Wobbe. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. David Hulshof as celebrant. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
