Billy Gene Lenand

Billy Gene Lenand, 72, of Rockview, formerly of Scott City, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at his home. He was born May 29, 1940, son of James William and Ruby Alma Niswonger Lenand. Billy and Lavonna Jean Riley were married May 27, 1961. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Lavonna, a son, David (Rena) Lenand of Scott City; a daughter, Donna (Earl) Ladd of Jackson; two sisters, Ruth Ann Meyer of Cape Girardeau, and Clara "Nute" Enderle of Oran; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with the Rev. Ken Bollinger officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
