Genevieve Menz

Genevieve E. Menz, 90 of Benton, MO died Wednesday, February 13, 2013. She was born February 13, 1923 in Oran, MO to Marion Sylvester and Edith Winchester Stuckey. She married Paul Phillip Menz, Sr. on September 7, 1940 in Benton, MO. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1988. She was owner/operator at Menz Grocery Store. She was a member of Unity Baptist in Benton, MO. She is survived by two sons, Billie D. Mansell of Cape Girardeau, MO and Paul P. Menz, Jr. of Denver, Co; special daughter-in-law, Earline (Joe) Lowes of Benton; a daughter-in-law, Diane Menz of Oran; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Menz, two brothers, four sisters and a great grandchild. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, on Friday at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO and Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church with Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery.
