Lorena Regina Berghoff

Lorena Regina Berghoff, 100 of Scott City died November 28, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was born February 7, 1912 in Kelso, MO to Daniel J. and Bertha Blattel Georger. She married Theodore Joseph Berghoff on November 14, 1933 in Kelso, MO. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1987. Lorena was a cook at Sands Pancake House in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. She is survived by a son, Leo (Hilda) Berghoff of Kelso; a daughter, Betty Calhoun of Scott City; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and a great grandson, Tyler Glaus. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral chapel in Scott City. Parish Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso with Rev. Oliver Clavin as Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
