Mary Maxine Mcbride

M.Maxine McBride, 88, of Morley, MO passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, MO. She was born June 28, 1924, to the late William Claude and Lena Bambridge Burson in DesArk, AR. Maxine married Edward "Gene" McBride in Dec. 1943 in Oceola, AR and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1987. She was retired owner and operator of McBride Flower Shop in Chaffee, MO. Maxine also worked as a florist for various floral shops in the area. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Clarkton, MO. Survivors include one son, Barry (Susie) McBride of Vanduser, MO; one daughter, Carolyn McBride of Morley, MO; one brother, Ralph Burson of Campbell, MO; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Danny Neal and Ronnie Gene; three brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton on Sunday November 11, 2012 from 11AM until time of service. Funeral service will be held at the chapel at 2PM with Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.
