Dennis R Whitlow

Dennis R. Whitlow, 63, of Chaffee, MO passed away Sunday, Oct. 21,2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born March 10, 1949, in Fairfield, IL to the late LeRoy and Mary Johnson Whitlow. He married Flora White on November 23, 1968 and she survives. He was a member of the United States Army, Chaffee American Legion Post 389 and Country CBer's. He was a retired painter for Lloyd Slinkard Painting Company in Cape Girardeau, MO. Survivors include his wife of the family home; one son, Michael R. (Jeannie) Whitlow of Chaffee, MO; one daughter, Danni (Mike) Jobe of Chaffee, MO; one brother, John (Glenda) Whitlow of Fairfield, IL; two sisters, Linda (Warren) Thomason of Aurora, IL, Brenda (Wesley) Lee of Fairfield, IL; six grandchildren, Monica, Melissa and Ryan Jobe, Ashley (Lee) Everett, Brittany and Chelsie Whitlow; four great grandchildren, Ashtyn and Audryna Rhodes, Sophia Whitlow and Tristen Everett. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Riddle. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4PM, today. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at 10AM at the chapel with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
