Katherine Spangler

Katherine Francis Spangler, 76, of Strattanville, PA formerly of Chaffee, MO passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2,2012 at Clarion Community Hospital in Clarion, PA. She was born July 14, 1936, in Chaffee, MO to the late Walter William and Grace F. Shores Ancell. Katherine married Robert E. Spangler on Oct. 11, 2002 and he survives. She was a member of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau, MO and attended the First Baptist Church of Clarion. Survivors include her husband, Robert Spangler of Strattanville, PA; a son, Kenneth (Lynda) Overfield of Wake Forest, NC; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a brother, Hadden (Barbara) Ancell of Holt Summit, MO. She was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Overfield. Friends may call after 4PM, Friday Oct. 5, 2012, at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, MO. Funeral service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the chapel with Rev. Mark Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO.
