Michael Johnson

Michael David Johnson, 26, of Chaffee, MO, passed away on Thursday August 30, 2012 in Chaffee, MO. He was born in Paducah, KY on November 9, 1985, to Thomas Kevin Johnson and Jenny Lou Shemwell. Michael married Emily Susanne Upchurch and she survives. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cairo, IL. He was a delivery driver for Morley Building Supply in Morley, MO. Survivors include his father and step mother, Kevin (Sharon) Johnson of Jackson, MO; his mother, Jenny Shemwell of Chaffee, MO; his wife, Emily Upchurch-Johnson of Chaffee, MO; three daughters, Kayli Anne, Kylii Rose and Khloi Blaik Johnson all of Chaffee, MO; paternal grandmother, Uneeda Sue Pugh of Benton, KY; step-grandmother, Dorothy Rose Johnson of Arnold, MO; a brother Stonnie Sean Dennis of Lexington, KY. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Gordon Johnson and his maternal grandparents, Luther Cashman and Frances Shemwell. Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 11AM until time of service on Sunday September 2, 2012. Funeral service will be at 2PM Sunday at the chapel with Rev. Larry Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, MO.
