Albert T. Morris

Albert Morris, son of the late Ed and Elsie (Webb) Morris was born on Sept. 9, 1929 in Morley, Missouri and departed his life on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 96 years.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Delta, Missouri. Mr. Morris retired after 42 ½ years as an Engineer for BNSF Railroad. He was a member of the Chaffee Elks and United Transportation Union.

On Feb. 21, 2004 he was united in marriage to Evaline Aguda in Chaffee, Missouri. Mrs. Morris survives of the home in Chaffee.

Along with his wife, survivors include two daughters, Victoria (Jim) Morris-Day of Illinois and Juavata Morris-Jones of Ohio; two step-daughters, Cathy Sanders and Lani Rouw both of Florida; two step-sons, Douglas Davis of Arizona and Adrien Nelson Poppert of Alabama; nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; also, by a host of family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tommy J. Morris and by one daughter, Thresa Clark.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at New Life Fellowship Church in Delta, Missouri. Funeral service will then be conducted at 11:00 AM at New Life Fellowship Church with Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Interment will follow in the New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
