Barbara Ann Simpson

Barbara Simpson, daughter of the late Clyde Eichhorn and Josephine (Urhan) Eichhorn was born on May 11, 1945 in Scott County, Missouri and departed her life on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at her residence in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. Simpson was a homemaker and a member of the Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.

On May 9, 1964 she was united in marriage to Jackie Wayne Simpaon in Chaffee, Missouri. Mr. Simpson survives of the home in Chaffee.

Along with her husband, survivors include two sons, Bryan Wayne (Kelly) Simpson of Chaffee and Eric Neil Simpson of Chaffee; six grandchildren, Eric Scott Simpson, Talon Simpson, Skyler Simpson, Jessica Fiffe, Brittany Hedrick, and Cooper Perry; sixteen great-grandchildren; One sister, Debbie (Joe) Dennis of Chaffee; three brothers, Ronnie (Debra) Eichhorn, Mike (Emily) Eichhorn, and Clyde Eichhorn Jr., all of Chaffee; also, by a host of family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Gilbert Eichhorn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Eucharistic celebration will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM in St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee with Father Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
