Barry Duane Ziegler

Barry Ziegler, son of Pamela Lentz of Sikeston and the late Randy Ziegler was born on August 12, 1983 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, July 26, 2026 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 42 years.

He was an employee at Rottler Pest Control in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and a resident of Sikeston.

Survivors include his mother, Pamela Lentz of Sikeston; two sons, Mason Ziegler of Sikeston and Liam Ziegler of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Olivia Ziegler of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Lentz of Wappapello, Missouri; three brothers, Jon Paul (Laura) Ziegler of Blodgett, Lee Ziegler and Samuel Jett both of Sikeston; one sister, Brandi (Chris) Kilburn of Benton, best friend, Paige Hinkle, many nieces and nephews; also, by a host of family and friends.

Besides his father, Randy Ziegler he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Art and Anita Ziegler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Blodgett City Cemetery in Blodgett, Missouri with Rev. Tim Schultz officiating.

Due to Barrys extended stay in the hospital, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his medical expenses. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
