Betsy Jester

Betsy Jester, daughter of the late William and Dorch Jester was born on October 19, 1935 in Oran, Missouri and departed her life on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

She was a former caretaker in Scott County for several years and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Oran, Missouri.

Survivors include one brother, Lloyd (Marion) Jester of Kenosha, Wisconsin; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Garrett and Harold Jester; by two sisters, Kathrine Miller and Brenda Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 11:00 until 12:00 noon at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran.  Funeral services will then be conducted on Friday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Brian Flanagin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Morley Cemetery.
