Betty Lou Pearman

Betty Lou Pearman, daughter of the late Holmer Surface and Cora (Bass) Surface was born on March 5, 1932 in Delta, Missouri and departed her life on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 94 years.

Mrs. Pearman was former employee at Superior Electric and Tricon. Later in her career she worked a Chaffee International Shoe Factory. She was of the Baptist Faith and a resident of Chaffee.

On October 21, 1956 she was united in marriage to Albert Lloyd Pearman. Mr. Pearman preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Sam (Lisa) Pearman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two grandchildren, Brook Pearman of Bellville, Illinois and Trevor Pearman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and friends.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Graveside services will follow at Kenyon Cemetery.
