Bobby Abernathy

Bobby Eugene Abernathy, 88 of Morley, Missouri died Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born January 30, 1932 in Sikeston to Henry and Lavedie Mae Hoxworth Abernathy. He married Aggie “Marie” Oliver on June 4, 1949.

Bobby was a farmer and a member of Morley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Abernathy of Morley; a daughter, Pamela (Vince) Lovejoy of Richmond, VA; a sister, Violet Farmer of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Kerissa Ann (Tim) Allbritton, Nathan (Meghan) Walter, Jeremy (Kimberly) Walter and Whitney (Brandon) Lowe and six great grandchildren, Alexandria, Jayden, Makenzie, Isabella, Hayden an Rex.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Susan Marie Walton and Cynthia Walter and ten brothers and sisters, Charlie Cecil, Johnny, Mary, Rossie Rossetta, Maudie, Fern, Leroy “Butch”, Tinia, Betty Jean, Pretshie Ann.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley with Rev. David Thompson officiating.
