Bobby Joel Staggs III

Bobby Staggs III, son of Terri (Emmanuel) May of Jackson, Missouri and Bobby J. Staggs Jr., of Paragould, Arkansas was born on September 17, 1996, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his residence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 29 years.

On July 22, 2017 he was united in marriage to Destiny Babers in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Staggs survives at the home in Jackson.

Bobby was an employee of MH Equipment in Scott City, Missouri and was of the Christian Faith. Bo was a hardworking and devoted father whose life was centered around the people he loved most. Known for his strength, big heart, and willingness to help anyone in need, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Bo was full of love, laughter, and a goofy spirit that could brighten even the hardest days. Although he could sometimes be a pain, it was always done with humor and love, making him impossible not to cherish. Above all else, Bo loved his mother, Terri, and wife, Destiny, more than life itself. The love and devotion he had for his family could be seen in everything he did. His kindness, strength, and unforgettable personality will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Along with his parents, survivors include three sons, Mason Carmack of Jackson; Levi and Luke Staggs of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Leah Staggs of Cape Girardeau;four sisters, Brittany (Deacon) Tapley, Meagan (Logan) Sander, and Brooklynn May all of Jackson, Missouri; Cheyenne (Loco) Vazquez of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; three brothers, Tyler Johnson of New Albany, Mississippi, Jonathan May of St. Louis and Coty (Reese) Stanford; grandmother, Margaret Staggs; three aunts, Michelle Simpson, Maggie Staggs, and Jennifer Stanford (Vin Knupp);also, by a host of family and friends.

Celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mount Auburn Christian Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with Pastor Casey Elmore and Pastor Gary Cooper officiating. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels assisting with arrangements.
