Catherine Yvonne Foster

Catherine Yvonne Foster, age 71, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

On September 15, 1954, in Los Angeles, CA, she was born to the late Joseph Alva and Annalee Bertha Baker-Edwards.

She married Scott Foster on August 9, 1997, in Chaffee, MO.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Annalee; one brother Larry Edwards and one sister, Elizabeth Hacker.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her brother, Joel Edwards of California; three sisters: Joann Haas of Scott City, MO, Betty Oliver or Joplin, MO, and Margaret Rine of St. Louis, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. Until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
