Clifford Wayne Griswell

Clifford Griswell, son of the late James Roy Griswell and Shelby Smith Griswell was born on September 3, 1949 in McNairy, Tennessee and departed this life on April 9, 2020 at the Chaffee Nursing Center at the age of 70 years.

Mr. Griswell retired from Harvill Manufacturing in Henderson, Tennessee as a plastic meltier and was a former farmer.

Survivors include three brothers, Charles Griswell and Billy Griswell both of Oran and Terry Griswell of Bloomfield; by three sisters, Jearldine Urhahn of Sikeston, Mary Daniels of Bloomfield, and Rosa Knotts of Oran.

Besides his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lavern Griswell.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran. Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
